Exceptions in opening times during the holiday season

All Vaara libraries are closed for Christmas, December 24–26, New Year’s Day, January 1, and Epiphany, January 6. There are also shorter opening hours in many libraries on Monday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 31.

In some libraries there are additional exceptions in opening times during the holiday season. You can see your own library’s up-to-date opening hours at the web library.

The chat service is closed from December 23 to January 6.

There is a normal access to self-service libraries (with separate contract only), the web library and electronic services also during public holidays.
