All Vaara libraries closed on Nov 1 and Nov 18

All Vaara libraries are closed on Friday, November 1 and Monday, November 18 due to staff training day and updates in the library system.

In addition, Joensuu Main Library is closed on Saturday, November 2 (All Saints’ Day).

On staff training day and All Saints’ Day, November 1–2, there is normal access to self-service libraries, the web library, and other electronic services.

During the library system update there is no access to any electronic services or the self-service libraries at least on Monday, November 18. There might be short breaks in services still on Tuesday Morning (November 19), but normal opening hours apply.

The databases are closed already on Sunday, November 17 at 19.00 (7 pm). After this you may not use the web library, electronic services, or self-service libraries. No loans are due during weekends or on closing days.

The E-Library app can be used normally also during the system update.
