Library offers free movie streaming service

The movie streaming sercvice Cineast has been added to Vaara libraries’ electronic materials.

You may use the platform with all the usual web browsers at www.cineast.fi. There is also an app for mobile devices. The app is available at Google Play (for Android) and AppStore (for iPhone). Cineast is Chromecast compatible.

When using the service, first select Vaara libaries (Vaara-kirjastot) from the menu, and then login with your library card number and PIN (passcode).

At the moment you may watch four movies a month using Cineast. Please note that every stream counts, even if you do not finish watching the movie. You may keep the movie for 48 hours.

If you do not have a PIN (passcode), you can get one from any Vaara library. You can also create the code at the web library login page by clicking the link Forgot PIN / code missing, if your e-mail address can be found from the library system.
