Libraries closed on November 3

All Vaara libraries are closed on Friday, November 3 for staff training day.

In addition, the Joensuu main library and Nurmes library are closed on Saturday, November 4 (All Saints’ Day).

The web library, electronic services and most of the self-service libraries can be used normally.

Exceptions:

– There is no self-service access to Outokumpu and Polvijärvi libraries on Friday, November 3 due to maintenance work.

– In week 44, self-service is open in Nepenmäki library Monday to Friday only 16.00-21.00 (4 pm – 9 pm) due to Defence Forces’ call-ups organised by the City of Joensuu.
