All Vaara libraries closed May 16–18

All Vaara libraries are closed from Tuesday, May 16 to Thursday, May 18 due to updates in the library system and a public holiday following it.

Due the system conversion, there is no access to self-service libraries, web library and electronic services at least on Tuesday, May 16. Database will close on Monday, May 15 at 22 (10 pm). After this, you cannot renew your loans before the database is open again. Loans will not be due during this time.

Normal access to self-service libraries, web library and electronic services will be back at the latest on Thursday, May 18. However, May 18 is a public holiday (Ascension Day) so there will be no staff working hours.

The new system version does not affect the library patrons. There have been a few other minor changes during spring:

– All automatic e-mail reminders now have the same sending address, noreply@koha-suomi.fi.

– After feedback, the automatic reminders are now sent after 9 am, a few hours later than before.

– You may now choose which fees to pay at the web library. In other words, you can now pay the fees one by one, if it is more convenient.
